Overall Purpose/Job Objective:
The candidate is expected to conduct research relating to design, simulation and prototyping of power converters used in future energy systems and advanced motor drives, supervise graduate students, write research reports and articles, and develop professional presentations.
Preferred
Qualifications:
The preferred requirements for the position would include practical experience in terms of prototyping power converters including PCB design and layout, programming digital signal processors or microcontrollers, proficiency in using software packages like Matlab/Simulink and PSpice, publication of past research results in recognized publications, and limited teaching experience.
