PURPOSE
This position is responsible for picking, packing and final inspection of customer orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and performs tasks in this department within the scope of the Karcher Quality Policy by following specified processes, procedures, and work instructions when performing assigned tasks per skills matrix/phase charts.
Successful completion of all 3 phases of the training program with certification from Trainer in each area specified with speed and accuracy.
Ability to successfully perform picking process by having knowledge of all warehouse locations, accurate part verification, use of handheld, and pick list verification.
Ability to successfully perform packing process by completeing final audit prior to shipment to ensure proper parts and packaging standards have been met.
Ability to meet/exceed daily rate set out for picking. (35 lines per hour in the G's/I9 lines per hour on the Wav or Picker).
Ability to successfully perform packing process by completeing final audit prior to shipment to ensure proper parts and packaging standards have been met.
Ability to meet/excel daily rate set out for the packing area (35 lines packed per hour).
Ability to successfully perform quality inspections of picking totes prior to packaging by verification of accurate parts identification and verification of correct quantities by means of weigh counting on scales or physical count.
Provides detailed documentation of errors found during audits of picking totes in quality log.
Notifies Team Leader or Manager of any discrepancies based on results of quality inspections.
Provides regular feedback to Quality Manager for process improvement.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains organized work space and follows good housekeeping practices.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
Less than one year of related experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Language Skills
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
TWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand;walk;use hands to finger,handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT
TWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
