SUMMARY The Construction Project Manager is responsible for supporting new build 7 Brew branded construction projects of ne franchisee or corporate-owned assets across the United States.
The Project Manger will be responsible for project advancement from inception to store opening, offering professional guidance to stakeholders, coordinating with vendors, supervising project timelines and budgets, upholding 7 Brew brand standards, and delivering progress data to internal corporate stakeholders.
This role will include cross-departmental interaction with internal teams at 7 Brew Corporate such as technology, design, estimating, procurement, operations, real estate, legal, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Provide meticulous oversight of each project schedule, monitoring advancements according to the established critical path timelines.
Provides accurate and timely project updates by inputting tracking data into the 7 Brew development tracking system, ensuring credible and dependable forecasting.
Facilitate and track interactions between internal teams with 7 Brew Corporate and external stakeholders including franchisee groups, contractors, vendors, design consultants, modular building manufacturers, landlords, local municipalities, etc.
, all working towards a common goal in refining the construction process to elevate and advance the development pipeline.
Assist with drawing review for quality control and adherence to the 7 Brew brand-specific design and construction standards.
Pro-active in identifying and communicating potential issues and concerns and protecting the 7 Brew brand standards throughout the development process.
Lead on managing project level construction meetings to calibrate or kick off projects with the miscellaneous project teams.
Completes all post-opening construction validation and conformance to corporate standards to bring development pipeline projects to closure and facilitates handover to operational teams.
Works with regional consultant teams on design and execution of new store plans for entitlement purposes, and acts as a liaison to general contractors, subcontractors, and various vendors through the RFP process.
Site travel for strategic projects and meetings with potential for overnights as necessary.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES 2 or 4-year degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or in a related field.
5-10 years experience in commercial general construction (non-residential) or construction project management experience a plus.
QSR, Retail or Casual Dining Restaurant construction experience preferred.
Experience preparing construction budgets and tracking of actual job costs.
Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal skills, displaying tactfulness when addressing difficult situations.
Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a strong dedication to the success of both the brand and the team.
Proficient in computer estimating, scheduling, and database applications.
Demonstrates high proficiency skills in Excel.
Persistent, detailed and able to report information and data clearly and accurately.
Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Proficient in identifying critical path obstacles and escalating issues to upper management within a complex process to advance projects.
Has proven leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment.
