If so, consider joining our team as an Supervisor Surgical Services in our Surgery Department at Physicians' Specialty Hospital.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Plans, directs, and evaluates the overall nursing care and functions in a particular nursing unit or during an assigned shift.
Coordinates the activities of the unit and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the nursing staff.
Assesses, monitors, and educates the nursing staff on patient care.
Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Typically reports to a supervisor and/or manager.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the surgical department.
Key qualifications to be considered for this include:
Associate's degree in nursing required License to practice as an RN in the state of Arkansas Requires a Current BLS and ACLS or acquired within 90 days of start of employment 3-5 years of surgical experience Behaviors Preferred Leader:
