Receives production order and job assignments from supervisor.
Reads order to verify quantity to be run, color sequence, and screens.
2.
Obtains screens, ink, squeegee, and related supplies needed to produce job.
3.
Sets up and breaks down press according to established company guidelines, safety, and job requirements.
4.
Clean and do other odd work as needed.
5.
Check proof sheets to verify press's color setup.
6.
Looking over pulled jobs to verifying accuracy and assure graphics and count are accurate.
Maintain quality control and prepare packages for pick up or delivery.
JOB REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must have good judgment of color, design, print quality and keeping count.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Must be able to multitask.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information to one-on-one and small group situations with other employees of the organization.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
The employee must regularly lift/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
The laborers work around fumes and solvents.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
