What you will be doing:
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Lab Manager and will participate actively in the production of all PurO3 products (visit puro3.
com for more information).
Other responsibilities will include:
- Prepping for and mixing formulas for production:
measure ingredients, pull packaging, follow the recipe to blend the ingredients, program specialized equipment, fill containers using the equipment.
- Monitor inventory of ingredients, supplies and finished products.
Receive and organize supplies.
- Clean the work areas and the equipment.
Perform light maintenance on equipment when necessary.
Maintain the storage areas.
- Perform all tasks related to packing the products including filling containers, capping containers, bagging products and labeling containers.
- Manage the production logs.

Qualifications:
Even though we don't require any specific degree for this position, the candidate needs to have these qualities:
o Ability to learn many new skills, follow directions and SOPs to a T, and take criticism graciously as these qualities lead to a safe work environment and a quality product.
o Time management skills - you must be a self-starter able to work independently.
o Extreme attention to details, accuracy and organization.
You will be working with precise formulas, expensive ingredients and specialized equipment! o Ability to do math - you will have to recalculate formulas accurately in the same way you recalculate a cooking recipe at home.
o Computer savvy (knowledge of Fishbowl Inventory a plus).
o Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently as well as handle small items, ability to stand, sit, bend over, reach and stoop.
o Excellent communications skills, reading and writing.
o Dependable daily attendance is vital for this position in order to meet productivity goals with our small team.
Must have reliable transportation.
This position requires the lab assistant to work alone in the lab for extended periods of time.
This is a perfect position for an introvert who likes his/her quiet - this is not for you if you thrive on social interactions! This position will require a long training period, so only candidates looking for a stable long-term work environment need to apply.
