SummaryDevelops and implements procedures for analyzing the creditworthiness of prospective and current customers.
Manages a group of credit analysts and approves requests for credit extensions based on analyst recommendations.
Manages the collection process by contacting delinquent customers to receive payments and reconcile deductions taken by customers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to) Perform risk assessments of new and current customers in accordance with policies focusing on positive customer relations.
Develop best practices to streamline workflows and improves processes.
Improve benchmarking metrics and key performance indicators for reporting.
Develop timely and accurate cash forecasts; analyze cash collections forecasts using estimated sales, open AR, and additional factors.
Lead and coordinate new customer reviews, using a combination of third-party evaluation services, historical data, and key input from Sales personnel.
Administrator the Salesforce based credit review platform.
Perform credit utilization reviews to ensure that customer limits are aligned with actual and forecasted sales monthly.
Leverage credit and collections modules to control customer activity in relation to limits including controlling all potential shipment holds driven by overall exposure.
Develop and monitor KPI benchmarking reports to track performance trends internally and versus industry standards.
Partner with Commercial teams and operations to ensure clear communication lines for customer activity.
Perform monthly Bad Debt evaluations and partner with business unit leadership to ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Position Reports to the Regional Controller within the Pace Industries team.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or similar 5
years of work experience in Accounting 3 years of supervisory experience Ability to think critically.
Strong software experience in MS office including Excel and Word High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work on a cross functional team and influence outside lines of reporting structure.
Self-motivated, self-starter and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and perform mathematical.
Ability to think critically and intellectual about problems and resolve issues.
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, from production associates to senior leaders.
Ability to function as a team player and be comfortable leading without authority.
Ability to build credibility and trust.
