The HR Assistant will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.
Main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.
g.
employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases.
Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees with outstanding customer service while conforming to labor laws.
Responsibilities Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews, orienting new employees Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department.
Compiling and maintaining paper, digital, and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness leaves Processing payroll and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits Preparing HR documents Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.
g.
leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules) Participate in HR projects (e.
g.
help organize a job fair event) Answer employees' queries about HR-related issues Supporting HR-related training programs, workshops, and seminars Entering employee data into computer database Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency Requirements and skills Three or more years' experience as an HR Assistant or related position Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices Knowledge of employment law and human resources responsibilities Impeccable written and verbal communication skills Full understanding of payroll practices Knowledge of computer applications and HR-specific software programs Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience.
At least two years related experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role required Microsoft suite experience; Excel and Word especially Benefits We Offer:
