GP Harmon Recycling is currently seeking a Plant Manager for our Fayetteville, Arkansas recycling facility. This operation uses processing equipment to convert loose recyclables into dense bale form for shipment to various customers. Facility will focus on operating in a safe and compliant manner, while providing exemplary service to internal and external customers.

KEY
Responsibilities:
Executes the vision of the organization, while establishing expectations in all areas of facility operations, safety, and compliance.
Grows Market Based Management (MBM) culture and sets an example by continuously applying MBM to make business decisions.
Leading environmental, safety, and health excellence.
Writes and reviews Standard Operating Procedures and Job Hazard Analysis, while encouraging employees to be principle based.
Communicates effectively with facility employees, mid-level, and senior management.
Responsible for equipment operation, maintenance, and inventory.
Builds reliability of mechanical performance in a fast-paced plant environment.
Oversees domestic and export transportation logistics.
Sets standards and metrics for production capacity and capability, while measuring operational efficiencies.
Drives year-on-year improvement in all key metrics.
Manages the selection and training of all employees.
Assist with equipment selection based on business needs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
Experience with Microsoft Office to include Word (document creation), Excel (creating and analyzing spreadsheets), and Outlook (email and calendar)
Knowledge and ability to apply all areas of plant safety and OSHA Compliance Standards
PREFERRED
Bachelor's degree or higher
3 or more years of experience supervising or managing a multi-shift warehouse or plant environment with responsibility for safety, compliance, and production
Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
Experience writing SOP's (standard operating procedures), and JHA's (job hazard analysis)
Knowledge of mobile equipment, recycling equipment, and/or industrial equipment
Experience training on safety, environmental protection, and/or compliance
Knowledge of domestic and export transportation logistics
Experience working in a recycling plant
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
